HomeSocial Value
For Tier 1 contractors, supply chains, bid and social value teams

You're already buying labour. Make that labour spend do more.

Fill genuine workforce gaps. Create genuine opportunities. Deliver measurable social impact.

The key message

You're not creating jobs for the sake of social value.

You're filling genuine workforce needs while creating genuine social value.

Every contractor with employment, skills and community-impact commitments faces the same problem: the targets are real, the workforce shortage is real, and the two rarely get solved together. LabourLok is built to solve them together. The labour you would buy anyway becomes the mechanism that delivers your commitments.

What NEET means

Not in education, employment or training.

NEET describes a young person, typically aged 16 to 24, who is not in school or college, not in a job and not on a training programme. It is a status, not a character judgement. Behind it sit young people whose education was disrupted, who never had a route into work, who lost momentum, or who face practical barriers like transport, kit, references or somewhere to live.

LabourLok's initial focus is young people aged 17 to 25 who are NEET, entering work for the first time, returning to employment or facing barriers to getting started. We find them, get them work-ready, place them into real paid work, support them and help them progress.

  • Sourced through referral and community partners who already know the young person
  • Work-readiness support before the first shift, not after the first problem
  • CSCS, SIA and other cards and licences where the role needs them
  • Welfare, accommodation and pay support throughout the placement
  • Access to training and progression tracked from day one
  • Temporary-to-permanent routes under our client terms
How it works

Workforce need first. Social value follows.

01

Scope

We start with the labour you actually need: roles, numbers, locations, durations, cards required.

02

Align

We map your contractual commitments to the outcomes our placements can genuinely evidence.

03

Deliver

Work-ready people arrive on your sites, supported by us through the whole placement.

04

Report

You receive outcome data aligned to your commitments: hours, entrants, training, progression, permanent outcomes.

Measurable impact

Outcomes you can count, not claims you have to defend.

Potential areas of measurable impact from a LabourLok placement.

Young people supported into work
NEET candidates supported
First-time industry entrants
Paid employment hours created
Training hours
Qualifications achieved
Skills progression
Pay progression
Permanent employment outcomes
Reporting and honesty

Aligned to your commitments. Never assumed.

Outcomes and reporting need to be aligned with each client's specific contractual commitments. We work with your bid or social value team to agree what counts, how it is evidenced and when it is reported.

ImportantLabourLok cannot guarantee that employing a worker automatically satisfies a particular tender requirement. Social value frameworks, measurement models and contractual definitions differ. We will be straight with you about what a placement can and cannot evidence before you rely on it.
Talk to us

Talk to us about your social value targets.

Tell us about the contract, the commitments and the labour you need. We'll come back with what we can deliver and how it could be evidenced.
